The Laurel Fourth of July Committee invites your business to be a corporate sponsor of Laurel’s Independence Day Celebration, July 4, 2009, at Gude Park’s “Laurel Lakes”. We are an all volunteer committee from the Greater Laurel Community who plan and organize the celebration and we need your help to maintain this much anticipated event.

The celebration consists of a parade, vendors, field events, live entertainment and culminates in a fantastic fireworks display over the lake in our area. The entertainment for this year is once again, Oracle, a talented band which was so well received last year that we have brought them back again for an encore. The attendance for past Fourth of July events has numbered well over 35,000, proving this Laurel tradition to be a great opportunity for your business to get its name out to the public and let them know that you are a supporter of the Greater Laurel Area.

This July will mark Laurel’s 32nd Independence Day Celebration. Many in the community grew up attending this event, and now have the pleasure of experiencing it again through the eyes of their children. Our citizens cannot help but appreciate your sponsorship and support of their summertime tradition. The committee certainly needs it tireless volunteers, but we also need those who work and live in the community to band together to ensure the continued success of this superlative celebration in our area.

Please review the levels of sponsorship listed on the next page. By choosing a level that works best for your company, you are also keeping Laurel’s Independence Day tradition alive and well, and for that, we as a community, cannot thank you enough. We are asking you to indicate your level of commitment by May 29, 2009. Besides what is indicated at each level, all sponsorship will be listed in the area’s local papers.

Levels of Sponsorship

Eagle Sponsor

$1,000 or greater – Company name will be displayed on a large 3’ x 30’ banner over the Robert F. Burton Stage, frequent acknowledgments from the stage, and a certificate of appreciation which can be displayed proudly at your business.

Old Glory Sponsor

$500.00 or greater – Company name will be displayed on a banner, acknowledgments from the stage throughout the day, and a certificate of appreciation which can be displayed proudly at your business.

Freedom Sponsor

$250.00 or greater – A certificate of appreciation which can be displayed proudly at your business.

Sponsor

$100.00 or greater – A certificate of appreciation which can be displayed proudly at your business.
