Citizens train to help out in crises
www.laurelleader.com, Harold Goodridge , Laurel Leader, June 3, 2004Whether it is a tornado, flood, hurricane, earthquake or terrorist attack, Laurel's new Community Emergency Response Team will be ready to help.
Twenty-six Laurel residents received certificates from the Maryland Emergency Management Agency last Wednesday at city hall for successfully completing eight weeks of emergency-response training.
