Mission Statement
The Laurel Police Department is committed to enhancing the quality of life for all our residents, visitors and business partners. To accomplish this, we will work with our citizens and business community to form a positive and open partnership which facilitates collective thinking and problem solving.
In furthering this partnership, we pledge our dedication and diligence in protecting life, liberty aned property; preserving the peace; and enforcing laws and ordinances while ever mindful of our responsibility to uphold and preserve an individual's constitutional rights and liberties.
We are committed to improving all aspects of publich safety, reducing the fear and incidence of crime, extending and improving our community programs, and maintaining the highest degree of respect for individual rights and human dignity.
